In 1962 Marvel Comics published a comic called Amazing Fantasy #15. It contained the first appearance and origin of the Amazing Spider-Man, written by Stan Lee and drawn by Steve Ditko. The original artwork was anonymously donated to the Library of Congress in 2008. The pages are available to view at the Library, by getting a library card and making a reservation online.

It was just Amazing for me to see the original art pages in person! The library staff was super helpful and provided a pleasant atmosphere to view the art. They allowed me as much time as I needed and to take pictures. Highly recommend this if you are going to Washington, DC anytime.
